ECOA provides the following services to its clients:

  1. Registration of farms as organic production, and/or GLOBALG.A.P. approved units.
  1. Registration of firms as handling, processing, packing, marketing, and/or exporting units for organic agricultural products.
  1. Inspection/certification of farms and firms according to various organic international standards such as EEC-2092/91 regulation, Naturland e.V. standards, BIO SUISSE standards, NOP/USDA standards, JAS/MAFF standards, and GLOBALG.A.P. standards.
  1. Issuance of internationally recognized organic product certificates that indicate conformity with the standards needed to allow access to European as well as other international markets.
  1. Provision of third-party reports about ECOA clients, which are requested by the control authorities in the international markets to issue import licenses for organic products.
  1. Issuance of GLOBALG.A.P. approval certificates for farmer as well as farmer group.
