by ECOA guarantee that no discrimination takes place with respect to the
applicant size, the membership of associations or groups, as well as undue
financial or other conditions. The following principles and aims govern ECOA

Members of ECOA are impartial and independent in their decisions regarding
inspection and certification. No conflict of interests are permissible between
ECOA members and clients.
Transparency:
All rules and regulations of ECOA are clear and known to all applicants.
Sense of Responsibility:
Every member of ECOA knows his responsibility and respects the confidentiality
of clients' information.
Experience and Competence:
ECOA personnel are highly experienced and competent specialists in different
areas of organic agriculture. Continuous training of personnel is a strategy
with high priority.

Development:
ECOA declares that further and continuous development of its quality management
system is a cardinal objective. International linkage with the world's
societies of organic farming and GAP protocols is also a high priority objective.
